Brent Cooley

General Manager

As the General Manager, Brent brings to the Best Western High Sierra Hotel not only excellent knowledge of the recreational opportunities that abound in Mammoth Lakes, but also an understanding of the joys and challenges that can be experienced for the guest traveling into a location that flourishes with an average 34 feet of snowfall. While he is at work, you will be sure to meet him during an evening manager’s meet and greet, or may experience his hospitable nature in a friendly chat as you check in. While he is away from work, you’ll see him scaling the local rock climbing crags or see him as he telemark skis down Dave’s run on the Mammoth Mountain ski area.  Either way, be assured that he will be available to answer your questions or assist you in anyway that he can.

Emily Cooley

Sales and Front Desk Manager

Being the latest addition to the Best Western High Sierra Hotel, Emily brings to the front desk the skills to successfully organize and manage a wonderful team of front desk agents and to the sales department the communication skills to negotiate and organize group visits and conferences.  In the hotel, you’ll see her assisting the front desk agents with questions, organizing a group function in the meeting room, or with camera in hand taking photos of the property.  Out in town you’ll see her hiking the woods with her husband, Brent and their dog Wilson, biking down ‘paper route’ on the Mammoth Mountain mountain bike park or snowboarding the powder on the Mammoth Mountain ski area.  Whether you are looking for that easy bike ride to take with the family or that exciting tree line to hit on your skis, Emily will be glad to share with you her favorites.

Jackie Garcia

Guest Services Manager

After 5+ years of service, Jackie is an indispensable member of the Best Western High Sierra Hotel’s management team.  From front desk operations to housekeeping management; from supply ordering to accounting, Jackie’s skills are vast and valuable.  You’ll see her welcoming smile assisting guests at the front desk, managing the housekeeping staff, or checking in on the café.  Out in town, you will see her with her beautiful family, husband Sergio, daughter Mariah and her latest addition, Angelina who joined the family only months ago.  For information about the best places to visit in town, she is the one to ask!
